Nominate a Chatter of the Week!

Last year, CU Chat Up had a feature called the "Chatter of the Week", which was affectionately called the COW. In this new year, the feature is coming back, but a little different. I'd like the listeners and readers to nominate people to be featured on the Chatter of the Week segment.

The Chatters of the Week will be featured in their own segment each week. Who should you nominate? Anyone you think that other credit union professionals should know! They can work for a credit union, service organization, business partner, perhaps involved with another cooperative or just someone who is enthusiastic for credit unions. Basically, the COW can be anyone that you think other industry professionals should meet.

To nominate someone, please complete the below form. If you choose not to share your nominees contact information, please include a way for me to reach you. That way if they are selected we can arrange a way for me to contact them.

Nominate away.....

CU Chat Up - Looking back at 2010 and forward to 2011

The last two weeks, CU Chat Up covered the main issues for credit unions in 2010 and looked forward to 2011.

Rob Rutkowski, from Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A and host of Current Issues in Credit Union podcast, and Brady Walen from Market Insights joined in the conversation about the main issues that credit unions faced in 2010.

After talking about 2010, I thought it was important to discuss what 2011 would look like as well. Denise Wymore, from the CU Association of New Mexico and Rob Rutkowski were the guests for this show. The conversation covered quite a variety of topics. But, particularly interesting was the possibility of chartering new credit unions.

There won't be a new episode of CU Chat Up this week. But, will return next week on Wednesday, January 19th.
